Event: Victorian Tea Party
Date: Sunday, April 21, 2024
Time: 2pm-4pm
Location: Ann Arbor City Club, 1830 Washtenaw Ave. Ann Arbor, MI 48104
A small Tea Party held in 1848 changed the course of American history, but it was not the first gathering like it that did. Please join us as Justin Wetenhall, director of the Whaley Historical House Museum in Flint MI brings the history of the High Tea Party to the Ann Arbor City Club.
In addition to mixing and mingling with each other and an engaging presentation, guests will also enjoy tasty brews, delicious tea sandwiches and sweet treats. The Washtenaw County Historical Society and Ann Arbor City Club are collaborating to bring you one of Ann Arbor’s Bicentennial celebrations.
