Put-In-Bay Tour

Put-In-Bay, located on South Bass Island in Lake Erie’s shallow Western basin, has been a summer resort since the mid 1800’s, thriving during the Victorian era when multiple steam ships anchored there. Put-In-Bay offers those interested in American history places to see and discover. It also offers a nature a wildlife center, an antique car museum, a butterfly house, two caves, and a historic winery established in 1888 to explore. Shopping, dining, and entertainment abound. The Grandeur of Grosse Ile

This tour of will provide historic insights and a glimpse of the beautiful homes found within the down river island community of Grosse Ile. Lunch at a waterfront restaurant, Portofino’s of Wyandotte, followed by a cruise on the Diamond Jack River Boat for a Bob-Lo tour should make for a delightful, lazy summer afternoon. Cost is $79.00. The Phantom of the Opera

Broadway’s longest running musical production, Phantom of the Opera by Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber, is returning to the Detroit Opera House in September. Attending this matinee performance on September 24 will be preceded by lunch at Sinbad’s at the River. Beautiful music, lavish costumes and scenery are the cornerstones of this play, which will entertain and delight you whether you are seeing it for the first time or the tenth. The cost is $94.00. Winner of the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, this play is the story of four blue-collar kids, known as the Four Seasons, who wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide before they were 30!
