Our members are a warm, friendly group of women and men who lunch and dine together and participate in many enjoyable activities at the Club. We are from varied backgrounds, national origins, and geographic areas of the local community. Through informal contacts, planned events and learning opportunities, you are sure to find members who share your interests.
Our Mission/Vision
By 2015, the Ann Arbor City Club will be known inside and outside the club as the place to be in Ann Arbor for social engagement, intellectual enrichment, and business networking. The City Club will continue to engage and support local civic and nonprofit organizations. Sited at a lovely, centrally located, historic home with excellent dining facilities and pub, it will attract a vibrant, growing membership. Our event facilities will be used to capacity. Our Signature Groups and other programs will continue to evolve and represent the shared interests of our membership.
Our Home
Built in the late 1800s as a spacious and elegant home, the house and grounds are now maintained as a community resource featuring stunning gardens, ever-changing art displays, a dining room and adjacent patio, a club lounge, a library, and a variety of gathering areas.
In January 2008, the membership voted to change the name from Ann Arbor Women's City Club to Ann Arbor City Club. A history of the original building and its development as the Ann Arbor City Club is available on our website.
Our recent renovation added an elevator, more rest rooms, a larger ballroom, and a re-designed lobby. Don’t miss our Photo Gallery.
